A Day at the Farm

On a surprisingly warm and sunny Saturday we took Isabelle to a farm. She had a great time! She loved all of the animals, especially the ponies and "cock-a-doos," also known as roosters. For such a fearless child, Isabelle is hesitant and cautious around animals, which I really love. Even if we are at the zoo and there is glass between her and an animal she would generally prefer not to touch the glass and keep a safe distance. But, by the end of the day she had touched horses, chickens and cows, fed the ducks and rode a pony twice. We had such a fun time together.
